Battle of Immortals - PH

This is a late post but as they said, it's better than never :)). Anyways, I got invited by Cubizone PH people to the Battle of Immortals launching. As what I've learned from the speakers during the launching, the game doesn't require a high-end like system which is good for us gamers.

They said that it's a 2.5D (I don't really understand that) game like diablo, that's why it doesn't require such high-end system perhaps it can even run on a netbook as what they've used for the free play during the event. I tried to play it, and found out that it really runs lightly.

Game Overview
Battle of Immortals (BOI) is a 2.5D mmorpg. It is inspired by Norse, Greek, Egyptian and Chinese Mythology. This fantasy based game gives players a game world rich in content and depth. The game offers players an abundant choices in customization in terms of their character's development, the game's rich pet system as well as the diverse mount system.

Other features include a player-dictated market, the guild system, the quest system (which provides more oppurtunities for character growth) as well as game content available in both instances and open-world areas.

Character enacted emoticons, the Realm of Love and "multi-channel chat" are just some examples of many social elements available within the game.

Game Features:
Mounts
As early as level 25, you can ditch your running shoes and strap on your ridding boots. Motenia is a vast realm and you'll need a trusty mount to get you around in speed an in style. BOI boast a variety of mounts each exquisitely designed in 3D. From ferocious dinosaurs and wolves to mythical gryphons and wondrous mechanical creatures.

Apart from allowing your character to move faster from one are to another, each mounts also gives you a buff. Each buff last for 30 minutes after you dismount. Every mount has a different bonus to give you.

Mounts also benefit from BOI's fortify system. Each time you upgrade your mount, the mount's appearance changes to reflect its quality and stature. The stronger your mount gets, the faster it moves, the better buffs it bestows upon you.

Pet System
Every class in BOI is a pet class! That is to say that all characters can acquire pets over the course of their adventures. The pet aid the characters primarily through combat. The will assist you on taking down your opponents. In some circumstances, a pet can pull the attention of the enemy away from the player or they may cast spells to help aid the player.

In defense of Atlantis and your comrades, you will find yourself arrayed against a vast army. Your travels will have you slaying monsters left and right. On a rare chance, you may find that monsters can be captured as pets. After clicking on the tamable monster you will be notified that you just earned a new pet.

Your pet gains levels as you slapy more monsters. For each level that your pet gains, they increase in power. There are also numerous ways for you to upgrade and customize your pet.

The pinnacle of your pet's development begins when you start teaching it skills. Much as how your skills powers your character, a pet's skills make them more useful and deadly.

Soul Gear System
Soul Gear is a designation for a special type of equipment. It is stronger and better than other items you may come across. Soul Gear shares many characteristics with normal gear with few differences. Soul Gear can be upgraded much like other equipment except that for an entire set, there will be a piece that can gain levels! This means that the more you wield it in combat , the better it gets! Soul Gear also has better bonuses than an equivalent piece of armor or weapon.

For each class, there is a set of Soul Gear waiting to be discovered at levels 45, 60, 75, 90 and 100.

Classes:
Vanguard - The vanguard can withstand the most amount of punishment. This class focuses on maintaining a high amount of defense against both physical and magical damage.

Vicar - The vicar carries the power of light and darkness with them. Vicar uses death magic to bring suffering to their enemies or life magic to help sooth and heal their comrades.

Warlord - Wielding massive weapons and a mean temper, the typical warlord rushes into combat with little regard for safety. This class is all about brute power and running his enemies into the ground.

Executioner - The executioner fins the weaknesses of his opponents and exploits it. This class is all about finesse and dishing out "Criticals".

Magus - The magus class harness the power of fire and ice to rain destruction upon her enemies.
