Square Enix finally revealed the system requirements for alpha/beta test for Final Fantasy XIV. It may still change before the official launch but at least you have now the idea.

System Requirements:
Operating System - Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista 32-bit/64-bit SP2, Windows 7 32-bit/64-bit
Processor - Intel Core 2 Duo (2.4GHz), AMD Athlon X2 (2.4GHz)
Memory - Windows XP (1.5GB), Windows Vista/7 (2.0GB)
Disk Space - 10GB for installation, 10GB for installation content and extra update
Video Card - NVIDIA GeForce 8800 or higher, memory 512MB, Radeon HD 2009 or higher, memory 512MB
Sound - DirectSound compatible (DirectX 9.0)
Others - 1280x720, DirectX, DirectX 9.0c

Fantasy Earth Zero - Square Enix's first F2P

Gamepot USA, Inc., the U.S. publishing division of Japanese gaming behemoth Gamepot, Inc., is pleased to announce the Fantasy Earth Zero™ Open Beta on March 3rd, 2010. The Open Beta marks the beginning of our countdown to Day Zero, the launch of Fantasy Earth Zero™.
